Here at Xtra-Mile.com we have organised meetings, workshops, seminars and conferences from 20 to in excess of 450 delegates and have worked with various high profile international speakers including UK wide parliamentarians, Ministers of the Scottish Government, leading business people and TV personalities, with event various event budgets. We bring experience of full-time and part-time members of staff with over thirty years combined experience across the event management and hospitality industry and we specialise in delivering our clients first class participatory events. Our attention to detail really does turn a good event into a great one and we give just that little bit more.
Our ability to coordinate large groups of people, both at the pre-event registration stage and during the event is reflected by the PFA Scotland appointing us as their event managers for their Career's Day. The event provides information and guidance to apprentice and senior footballers for their future careers. The footballers have the opportunities to meet with universities, colleges, scholarship programme providers, employers and training providers. The event also offers senior footballers the opportunity to attend specifically tailored information sessions which cover topics such as; running a business such as a franchise, the leisure industry, and coaching opportunities. The event is held on an annual basis and attracts in excess of 250 attendees.
Our experience in organising Annual Conferences can be demonstrated with the Scottish Training Federation's Annual event. Xtra-Mile.com has been contracting with the STF for the last five years. Our input includes a variety of task, such as identifying and securing high profile speakers, securing event sponsorship and exhibitors, sourcing a prestigious venue and marketing the conference to appropriate delegates. Over the years the event has seen a variety of formats. The latest format saw delegates benefit from exhibitor networking, formal workshop/ seminar sessions on day one of the event, followed by them participating in an interactive 'speed networking' session on day two.
Due to our experience of managing events for our clients within the Scottish Parliament, City and Guilds asked us to assist them with the management of their event. The evening reception was held within the Main Hall at the Scottish Parliament, with the purpose of introducing their "Manifesto for Skills"
